DON'T WALK/WALK

Step up to the curb, and if there is a traffic light across the street from you, make sure it says ìwalk.î

Look to your left and ensure that no cars are coming towards you. If there are, make sure they come to a complete stop a decent distance away from you.

Looking both ways at the street

Look to your right. Again, check if any cars are coming towards you, and if so, be sure they see you and stop.

Walking across the street

If no cars are moving towards you, cautiously step into the street and walk to the other side.
